McKinley Park Information – Teenager Photo Workshop Qualified prospects to McKinley Park Exhibition

In collaboration with The Character Conservancy, the Coalition for a Greater Chinese-American Neighborhood (CBCAC) trained youth photographers in McKinley Park around two Saturday sessions on August 14 and 21, 2021.
“Our aim is to highlight the beauty of the organic spots in just McKinley Park,” stated Vivian Zhang, CBCAC’s outreach coordinator.
“This class is meant to be available to photographers of all skill concentrations,” Zhang explained, also noting that it focuses on “the things of composition in nature images.”
The first course, on Saturday, August 14, gained instruction from photographer Rebecca Memoli. Lucy Gomez-Fellciano from The Nature Conservancy taught the second course on Saturday, August 21.
Exhibition This Saturday
Photographers introduced whatsoever system they wished to use to acquire shots, Zhang claimed, which includes cellular units. The program supplied a person-on-1 mentoring, a nature tour and team critique the 2nd session also looked at figuring out indigenous species applying the iNaturalist company.
Individuals acquired a reward card for publishing their perform, and all photographers received a print they can take dwelling, too, Zhang reported.
The system culminates in a Teen Photography Exhibition from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at the McKinley Park industry residence, 2210 W. Pershing Highway, Chicago. All are invited to view the teenager photographers’ perform, Zhang stated, and the photographs will remain up following the exhibition for viewing, way too.
